AEMC 6522 Description:
The AEMC 6522 (2155.51) Digital/Analog Megohmmeter is a handheld, battery-powered insulation and continuity tester. The Model 6522 uses 250V, 500V and 1000V test voltages to measure insulation resistance up to 40G?. It also incorporates a 700V AC/DC True-RMS voltmeter as well as continuity testing with a 200mA test current. The Model 6522 includes Timer and Test Lock functions, allowing for hands-free operation. An automatic safety check protects the user with audio and visual signals as well as test inhibition when >25V is present on the test sample. The large digital multi-function display with an analog bargraph provides clear and easy readings enhanced by a bright blue electroluminescent backlight. The optional remote test probe with flashlight (sold separately) simplifies repetitive testing and helps access hard-to-reach, poorly lit areas. The Model 6522 is an ideal tool for testing cables, small motors, pumps, transformers and industrial equipment.
