Megger DCM1500S Description

The Megger DCM1500S Solar Clamp Meter is an AC/DC clamp meter capable of measuring voltage up to 2000V DC/ 1500V AC (true-RMS) and current up to 1500A AC/DC (true-RMS AC). It is ideal for installing, maintaining, monitoring, and testing photovoltaic systems and AC/DC electrical equipment. The Megger DCM1500S Solar Clamp Meter is safety rated to IEC 61010-1 and IEC/EN61010-2-033 CAT IV 600V and CAT III 1000V.

The Megger DCM1500S Solar Clamp Meter also measures resistance, diode, capacitance, frequency, inrush current, and °C/°F temperature. It is auto-ranging and features DC amp zeroing, as well as a Non-contact Volt Seek mode and a high-frequency rejection filter. Furthermore, the Megger DCM1500S Solar Clamp Meter includes an automatic torch built into the jaw to assist with taking measurements in poorly lit areas.

Readings are indicated on the Megger DCM1500S Solar Clamp Meter’s large, clear, backlit 6000-count display. In addition to the aforementioned tests, the DCM1500S includes the following measurement functions:

Smart Hold: issues an audible alert if the ‘held’ value has increased by 50 counts or more
MIN/ MAX
Data Logging: up to 1000 records
Manual Save mode

The Megger DCM1500S Solar Clamp Meter also includes an Auto Power Off function for conserving battery life.

Bluetooth connectivity means measurements gathered using the Megger DCM1500S Solar Clamp Meter can be monitored remotely via a smartphone or tablet with the Megger Link App installed. Via this app, you can log and sample values, as well as view a live trend graph.
