Mitutoyo 511-746 Offers
Features
- Large, newly designed grips are easier to hold and reduce heat transfer from the operator for better accuracy by 50% by making the grip hollow structured, thereby retaining high accuracy measurement
- Fully protected by a rugged cover
- Contact points are carbide (>18 mm range), giving you high durability and wear resistance
- Interchangeable anvils are constructed of alloy steel with carbide-tipped measuring faces for added accuracy and durability
- A two-point contact system detects geometry anomalies such as ovalness and taper
Carbide contact-tips and anvils
The carbide-ball contact point and anvil tip have increased abrasion resistance compared with the steelball type and better surface roughness compared with the molded carbide-tip type. Thus, they almost never scratch a workpiece.
