All Workman Tripod Fall-Rescue Work Systems meet ANSI Z359.1 and applicable OSHA regulations when leg base strap is installed and properly adjusted.
The Workman Tripod head is aluminum alloy, the Workman Tripod legs are high-tensile, aluminum alloy.
Capacity for personnel is 400 lbs (182 kg) including weight of the user plus clothing, tools and other user-borne objects.
Capacity for material is 620 lbs (280 kg).
Free fall distance (limit) must not exceed 6 ft (1.8 m) in accordance with OSHA ANSI A10.32 and ANSI Z359.1. The Canadian Occupational Health & Safety Act of 1990 and specifies that free fall distance must not exceed 5 ft (1.5 m). The user must comply with applicable standards and regulations.
When used as part of a personal fall arrest system, fall arresting forces must not exceed 1,800 lbf (8 kN).
Minimum vertical static strength with legs fully extended, feet tread-down, on a hard, flat, surface is 5000 lbs (22.0kN).
