Storage
- Can be stored and transported in their original cartons at ambient temperature (+32? to +86? F [0? to +30? C])
- May be stored in the dark for up to 5 years
- Do not store in direct/high heat or sunlight as this may distort the shell
Lifetime
- The Nexus helmets have an in-use life up to five years
- Excessive wear and tear can considerably reduce the lifespan of the product
Cleaning
- Clean using warm soapy water and a soft cloth
Disposal
- Recycling is preferred when possible
- Helmet shell with chinstrap removed is #7 and is in the "other" category of most recycling programs
- Suspension is #4 with webbing and sweatband removed and can be added to most residential recycling programs with other household items like plastic bottles
