- Cairns® 660C Metro Standard Orange Composite Fire Helmet has high-temperature foam cap to enhance thermal and impact protection along with a rugged high-temperature edge trim prevents melting and drip consequences. It features a higher temperature impact cap liner to resist distortion at higher temperatures with patented shell release to provide extra protection to neck and head. It features corrosion resistant, high-temperature glass-filled face shield/goggle hardware with a DuraGlas fiberglass to provide protection against cracking and chipping. It has soft black Nomex chinstrap with one-hand quick-release buckle and postman slide to render quick removal operations and adjustments. It has Nomex or PBI/Kevlar earlap to provide enhanced protection and coverage to neck/ear with 3-position rear ratchet height adjust renders a secure and comfortable fit. It has sleek construction to let fast, easy raising and lowering of the visor renders durability. It has SCBA interface front headband adjustment that matches to accommodate any SCBA mask with a convenient removable flannel or leather cushion liners. It comes with the popular retractable defender visor primary eye protection option that stays clean inside the helmet until required during search-and-recovery. It is ideally designed for fire-fighting applications. It can be used to render unparalleled performance, is tough enough for structural, light enough for wildlands, small enough for EMS and confined space applications. It meets NFPA 1971-2007 certified standard.
